Dear Friends,

The Wardens of the parish of St. Matthew/St, Aidan wish to extent a warm welcome to our summer visitors. We trust that you will continue to join us as we enter the summer season.  During the months of July and August we will be celebrating Holy Eucharist, with our visiting priests who have graciously offered to be with us.

Restoration and the necessary repairs to the stain glass window by the organ are on going. The contractor is proceeding cautiously in order not to break the precious glass. 

All four smaller side windows are now in place and were dedicated over the year.  Many thanks to the families for their generous support to this project.  Visitors to our church continue to comment on their beauty and design as we give praise to our maker. 

Once again our parish has planned several events for the coming months.  In July there will be a bake sale and yard sale. Please take al look at our calendar of events for additional information. Again this year the parish has made a commitment to support local youth projects such as the breakfast program's at  Buckhorn Public School and the Intermediate and Secondary  School at Lakefield.  Vacation Bible School is another activity that our church supports.
